I found this 1995 F-250 on www.autotrader.com where Mike listed it.  I called and spoke with Mike about it.  He was very knowledgeable of these trucks in general.  These older 7.3 diesels are very hard to find in good shape and Mike had great things to say about this truck.  I am sure I wore him out with all of the questions I had about it.  I asked him to send me a lot of pictures, which he gladly did, and took close ups of a few blemishes on the truck.  I was a little apprehensive about buying a truck this old site unseen, but all of my research on Mike's business led me to believe he was a straight up guy and his business is solid.  Mike made me a great deal on the truck, and I wired him the cash.  He began looking for a shipper, which took a little longer than he thought.  It also cost a little more than he quoted me, which Mike absorbed the difference with no complaint.  Mike and Robin kept me informed every day via email and always responded to my phone calls and emails very quickly, usually within the hour.  The truck was exactly what Mike said it was.  I am very happy with the transaction and the experience.  I will most certainly do business with Mike again.  Thank you for being an honest straightforward dealer.

Often you don't hear praise and accolades on the internet, but I have one for you. I was recently in the market for an older truck with low miles. My search led me to Wells Auto Sales. I contacted Mike and felt automatically at ease with his knowledge and desire to provide the best possible example of the model truck I was searching for. After looking at his detailed photos, the Auto check report and his description of the truck I made plans to drive 4 hours to look at and possibly purchase the truck. Once arriving onsite and seeing and driving the vehicle I was blown away at the condition of the truck. Everything on it was immaculate, and even smelled new, all in a 14 year old truck. Mike had described it to a T and I have never been happier with a vehicle. I would like to take this time to share my car shopping experience with Wells Auto. I was in the market for a Camaro preferably a 2011 Red SS and I came across this 2010 SS and it was gorgeous but only had one pic so I emailed Mike and asked if there are any more pictures available. Within an hour or so that I sent the email I received a response from Mike stating the car was still available and after being thoroughly detailed he would send me pics the next day. When I received the pics I was at another dealer looking at a black Camaro. Once I viewed them, Mike sent me an email saying that he had left to deliver a car but I could come the next morning. I couldn't wait! I called Mike and he said he could be back at his dealership within an hour even though they closed at six and it was already 8:00pm. Mike had his staff stay open til we arrived!! Right away I was blown away by the awesome customer service and we hadn't even met yet. Wells Auto was about an hour and 30 minutes away but I didn't care, I had to see this beautiful car that was awesomely priced. I thought it was too good to be true. My father came along with me and as we turned in to the dealership there it was 2010 Camaro SS Red Jewel looking as tho it just rolled off the showroom floor.

We could not believe how clean and detailed it was! Rob came out with the keys and Lic plate and after introducing himself knew exactly what we wanted to do first TEST DRIVE it. Test Drives can be extremely awkward when the salesman rides along esp in a two door coupe but that wasn't the case. You are treated with respect and more importantly trust Rob let us take our time for the test drive and did I mention that they have now stayed open 4 hours past closing just to accommodate me and my schedule.

Needless to say I bought the car and am extremely happy with it. I not only found the car I have always wanted but felt that I have gained two good friends in Rob and Mike. It was truly a breath of fresh air to meet salesmen that are confident in the car they are selling that they weren't pushy or making me rush on such an important decision as so many other car salesman all do. The car truly sold it self. I hope this was helpful to all who read! I am spreading the word to all my friends and family.

“I recently purchased a 2011 Toyota Tacoma from Mike at Wells Auto Sales.  I had been looking for a used Tacoma for some time in my home province of Nova Scotia.  The issue I had with the vehicles here was that they were priced too high for the mileage I was seeing.  A business contact of mine located the Tacoma on the Wells Auto site.  I suspect I had the same reservations many used car buyers would have, particularly when the dealer is located several thousand kilometres away.  Mike and Robin were very good to deal with.  Both responded quickly to my various calls and emails.  Robin was excellent with the paperwork required to import the truck to Canada.  Mike accommodated my various requests, including quickly arranging delivery of the vehicle to the local Toyota dealership for an inspection. 

 I arrived late on Friday evening (after 10pm).  Mike had the truck and paperwork ready.  The truck was exactly as described on the website and the paperwork was completed in about 10 minutes.  Mike followed up 2 days later to make sure I got the truck back to Nova Scotia safely.  Importing the vehicle was not difficult and made easier by Mike and Robin’s knowledge of what was required at the border.   

I plan to contact Mike the next time I’m in the market for a vehicle.

2009 Mini Cooper Clubman - White

My youngest son is a senior in high school soon to start college.  He is into dirt bikes and snowboarding and was driving a 2008 Chevy crew cab with a lift kit but bottom line is the truck was not ideal for commuting to college and is a challenge to drive in city traffic.  We started looking for a late model Toyota Tacoma or Nissan Frontier, something he could still use for snowboarding or motocross.  We shopped a number of dealers in the Richmond area but it was the same old dealership story, give away your truck to them and pay premium price for theirs.  We found the perfect Tacoma on Auto trader at Wells Auto Sales in Warrenton, VA., about two hours from our home.  The truck was a 2011 Tacoma, crew cab 4x4 with TRD package and only 6500 miles.  I sent Mike pictures of my son's truck and he quickly emailed me back stating he would be interested in taking it in on trade.  Not only was Mike selling his Tacoma for two to three thousand less than comparable trucks at the Richmond dealership, he was also offering us more than any Richmond dealer offered us on a trade.  Mike took our information and on that Saturday morning my son and I drove to Warrenton.  Mike's staff had all the paperwork ready and were in and out with our new Tacoma in less than 30 minutes.  All of us know that this normally takes two to three hours at a large dealership.  I am impressed with Mike and his operation and will recommend him to my friends and relatives.  Mike is a straight shooter and i will certainly be calling him in the future.  Thanks Mike.

After my vehicle had kicked the bucket, and searching the internet for over nine hours, 
I finally found “the one”, but it was located in Virginia, 236 miles, 4 hours and 29 minutes
away from Pittsburgh. Transportation arrangements worked out perfectly within minutes,
in which a good friend of mine was able to assist, but on the way there, my friend and I ran
into major traffic. I called Mike about 5:15 PM and left a voice mail letting him know that we
were still on our way. Mike called me back within minutes and had informed me that the
dealership closed at 5:00 and that Robin, who usually does all the paperwork, had left for the day.

Mike was also supposed to be on his way to pick up a vehicle. After knowing that I had traveled
a long distance, Mike said that he would go back to the office. Even after knowing that I was going
to be there almost an hour after Wells Auto closed and knowing that he would be doing the
paperwork, and not even knowing for sure whether I was going to purchase the Jeep, he still went
out of his way. Upon walking into Wells Auto, the first thing I noticed was how everything was
clean and orderly. I met with Mike in person, and within minutes, the paperwork was on it’s way
and before I knew it, I was headed out the door and getting into my new Jeep, with a warm goodbye.

From the second I was first in contact with Mike on the phone, I could tell, he was a man that was
dedicated to customer satisfaction, dedicated to his profession and dedicated to giving individual
attention to each of his customers, to make them feel special. These traits are difficult to find, which
is why with Mike’s honesty and genuine sincerity, I will definitely be contacting Mike for my next vehicle
purchase. First impression to the very last impression of each step of this journey was a pleasure

I am not a first time buyer and have purchased many cars over the past 25 years. Whether
it be vehicles for commuting, for my wife, or just another toy (usually for her as well), I have
ALWAYS dreaded the total car buying experience... and then I met Mike and Robin.

I saw an ad on auto trader that had just been posted for a Hemi Orange Pearlcoat Dodge

Challenger (I had been looking for one for my wife for about 3 months) so I sent an e-mail to
the seller. Mike was on the road picking up a car and took the extra 10 minutes to call me
personally. He took the time to explain how his car dealership worked along with his approach
to advertising and business ethics. The whole time, I kept thinking that this was NOT your
"run of the mill" car salesman. Working in a large corporation at a Fortune 500 company,
I began to wonder why EVERYONE didn't sell cars like this.

I flew down to Virginia from Massachusetts and Robin (her title is Office Manager, but she

pretty much runs the show behind the scenes - sorry Mike) was so easy to deal with and
so meticulously organized. She had everything ready - temporary tags, 30 day registration,
paperwork completed, car washed, prepped and ready to go. I was in and out in 20 minutes.
I knew I got a fantastic deal on a pristine car (I mean this vehicle was FLAWLESS) but I guess
it didn't really sink in until I registered the car in Massachusetts and had to pay the sales tax
on the blue book value of the car, which was obviously more than I paid Mike (I actually felt a
little guilty). Needless to say, I will be buying the rest of my cars in the future from Wells Autos
 - it is DEFINITELY worth the trip.

"As a first time buyer of a major item like a special vehicle, building trust and confidence
in the seller is a key component. This is even more important when the transaction is
occurring across a border. I had been looking for a Shelby on and off for over a year and
when the red GT500 appeared on eBay at Wells Autos. My first impression was excellent.
The presentation was clean, professional and clear, simple pricing, giving me a good feeling
right away. I thought that the best thing would be to make a phone call and have a dialog about
the car. Mike was straight and to the point, telling me exactly what I wanted to know. His straight
and honest answers delivered trust and I was confident to make the purchase. After the purchase
he and his staff we extremely helpful at getting me the necessary documentation by courier and
fax to import the vehicle.

We flew down to the dealership in Warrenton and received this flawless gem sitting in a simple,

Buying that vette from you is the best and easiest car purchase experience I have ever had!
Regardless of the no-haggle policy, the rest of the paperwork was minimal and there was
absolutely no hassle about anything.  Much easier than Carmax.  You had a fair price on the
sticker, and all the paperwork only took a few minutes.  But what impressed me most was
your willingness to work with my lack of checkbook; I took the car home on a promissory note
and brought back the down payment a couple days later, followed by the full financing a few
days after that.  What could be more convenient and darned good business?  I will definitely
keep you in mind for my next puchase!

Our recent purchase experience at Wells Auto was unlike any other I have ever had.
There was no pressure at all. The sales staff left us alone to discuss and look over the

car as long as we wanted.  After we were done looking they just gave us the keys and 

told us to take a test drive.  When we returned from our test drive we were given complete
privacy to make our decision.  There was no negotiating back and forth; the car was
priced right already.  Everyone was courteous and professional.  My son was included

 I wanted to let you know what our recent purchasing experience was like at
Wells Auto Sales. It was unlike a lot of other dealers. We did not feel pressured
at all and the time spent was probably the least I have ever spent purchasing a car.
Mike gave my son (the purchaser) the keys to the 2010 Camaro and told us to take a
test drive. Mike did not ride along like some dealers who want to ride along as if you
weren’t coming back. Once we got back to the dealership, Mike did not pressure us
at all. There was no negotiating back and forth, Mike had the best price to start with.
I’ve bought over 30 vehicles over the years, some from private party and most from
dealers, and this was one of the best most pleasant purchasing experiences I have
ever had. I tried to let my son know that not all of his car purchases in the future would
be like this. A local dealership would not even let my son test drive a Camaro until they
 had negotiated a price. As you can see, this was their loss.

a brand new one off the showroom floor.
